Six Coffeemaker

I love the look of the machine but it has two major setbacks. The first is that despite appearances the carafe and filter cup are NOT stainless steel which I personally feel like is deceptive. I washed mine in the dishwasher and a film peeled off making it overall shiny. The color is clearly a label that has been applied. The second major drawback is that there is no hot plate so you have to rely on the carafe to keep the coffee warm. It is well insulated but just beware. Very lovely on the countertops otherwise and good coffee.

I consider myself a huge coffee snob. I have been using a Technivorm for many years and just can’t seem to get it exactly right. I feel the ground beans just don’t get fully saturated even if I can adjust the bloom. Read a lot of great things about the Ratio 6 so I decided to place an order. Hands down this produces the best coffee I have made at home with a pie over style coffee maker. I have been through a few different coffee makers looking for the best one. Definitely give it a shot, I doubt you will be disappointed. Keep up the great work, Ratio.
