Rapid Pro Flip Flop (Men)

I was very disappointed with this purchase. I have been a chaco enthusiast for 20 years. I have worn these flip flops only a half a dozen times and I have a bloody wound between my toes and the bumps/ traction surface on the pad of the flip flops is abrasive and uncomfortable. Prior purchases have not been like this, but this model of flip flop is not wearable. My trip to Mexico was impacted by my ability to walk correctly on day two of my trip. I have no idea if the company will return these or at least exchange them for a different model even though I wore them a few times. Of course. I can’t wear any flip flop until the skin between my toes regrow. 😔. Bummed.

These are very durable flips. I have been a Chaco flip user for decades. These are the beefiest ones I have ever used. A bit heavier feeling, but that is what I like about them, actually. I also like the slightly textured outer soles. They not only look good but add a bit of grip to where you wouldn't expect to need them. Overall, I am very happy with them.

It's nearly impossible to find a high quality outdoor flip flop. Once I saw the vibram soles I had to give these a shot. The construction is high quality and these won't let you down. My only issue...as several review mention, is the straps cutting my feet. The soles are very stiff at first and I believe that is the issue. As I wore them the soles softened and confirmed to my feet. They then became my favorite pair that I can't take off. So much so I bought a second pair. I recommend wearing these around the house and on short trips at first. Once you feel the rub quickly take them off. Give it a few days and wear them again. After 5-10 days I think you'll love them as much as I do.

These lasted 9 months of regular, but not daily, use before the between-the-toe strap broke. The old Chaco Flips lasted years—and I was harder on them. These are just as capable, but only 9 months of use is really disappointing. Top strap is fine still. Soles are fine still. Loved them while they worked, but I may finally be done hoping they bring back the old, high-quality version.
