Pretty but be mindful of laptop pocket size
A nice low-profile backpack!
So, I have the newer 2021 16" Macbook Pro (9.77" x 14" x 0.66")... I got this based on the info from the similarly-sized Rains Backpack Mini— which says "Flat laptop pocket fits 13" device with sleeve – 15 without".
I was able to fit the Macbook in the pocket but it was TIGHT—I don't want the seams to tear over time (since the pocket is just attached to the back), so I'll probably just use a separate sleeve or hardshell case. Also, the velcro strap doesn't reach over the pocket because of the laptop height, and the pocket is lightly padded, which is nice in theory.

Nice bag but no pockets
This bag is a nice size for a laptop, umbrella and a few other smaller items. But it baffles me that it doesnt have any pockets. CONS: There is the one inner "padded" pocket for the laptop but thats it. You can see on the outside that it looks like theres two mesh pockets on the bottom but they are sewn shut. Same with the sides where you'd usually be able to put a water bottle... mesh pockets but tightly sewn shut (its not like a blazer where all you'd have to do is clip those two stitches... this is sewing machine tight). So you have to take the bag fully off, unbuckle, unzip and dig deep for your smaller items. PROS: bag is the perfect size for commuting to work and the color and material are beautiful.
