Ruched Front Travel Coat

This coat is great for the business traveler. It folds up into a neat, small package easily stuffed into carry on luggage. But the best part is that it looks great on. Very stylish. Worth the money-and now on sale!

The coat was more for a junior size person. Materials were very nice, but if you are getting older, there is not enough chest room in this coat.

glad i listened to other reviewers--it is a bit small across the chest. even though i'm not a large person (wear an 8/medium typically) i purchased the large size so that i could wear a light sweater underneath when need be. the coat is very stylish and seems to be made well. the hood is a bit odd. it's a small hood which because of the angle of the collar doesn't stay on your head unless you really tie it down tight (and then it looks kinda ridiculous). if not tied down it only sits on the back third of your head and then quickly falls off. if having a hood isn't important, then not a problem.

I did not care for the "hand" of this coat. To me, it felt very plastic, and it was quite noisy. I also found the accompanying carrying pouch goofy and gimicky.

Lovely color. Lightweight, and stylish but very comfortable and well cut. Not flimsy. In a sea of drab trenchcoats, this one stands out!

I bought this coat in black in 2009 and it has served me very well. It is lightweight and scrunchable enough to make it easy to stuff into a bag and pull out relatively wrinkle-free when I need it. Its length and A-line shape make it useful to wear over a suit and it's a little heavier than a rainshell - so it's a packable 3-season coat for business travel. It's a bit short for some dresses and skirts that I wear but generally looks fine even if my skirt is peeping out below the coat. I did decide to buy the Large even though I'm closer to a medium in size. If you are broad-shouldered (me) or a bit busty (not me), it's probably better to size up. Because of the A-line shape, sizing up doesn't result in the coat being baggy everywhere else.
