Collins Cotton Blend Utility Jacket

I have a couple of Rails Collins style jackets and this one is the same cut but the fabric is a little heavier than my other ones which I like for fall/winter. Easy style jacket to just throw on and go without having to "style" it. Beautiful deep rich chocolate color which is very on trend right now. This style jacket does run a little large.

The fit on this jacket is just a bit large - not enough to order a smaller size - there is plenty of room to layer under. The color is true to the photo a rich & warm brown. The material is heavier than anticipated but not a negative as this will definitely work well in the cooler weather of fall. At 5’5” the length is perfect and falls just beneath my hip. So glad i took a chance on this jacket - perfect!

I am 5'8" tall with a 38C bust and a size 14 hourglass figure. I ordered this jacket in my usual size Large, even though the Rails size chart suggested XL. The soft cotton blend fabric is lightweight, perfect for transition into fall. The length of the garment and the sleeves is as shown. I like the hem drawstring that allows for the straight look of the model or cinch the hem for more of a bubble finish. The details are not too utilitarian, so this jacket is quite versatile to pair with jeans, trousers or casual dresses. To get the relaxed look of the online photo, I would suggest sticking to your usual size, and there will still be plenty of room.

This is the ultimate transitional piece. It fits true to size and provides just the right amount of warmth without being heavy. It is the perfect lightweight layer for a mild climate like California.

Great purchase had to order twice as it ran large on me (generally a 8/medium/34DD on top but had to reorder a small). So soft material, great color, adjustable drawstring bottom.
