Retro Runner Mesh Sneaker (Women)

Bought these for an upcoming summer trip to Vienna. Perfect mix of comfort and style. I wear very low nude socks with these because I don’t like sweaty feet but want to preserve the look. These worked beautifully with shorts, pants, and dresses. Received several compliments on them. Tried on the black and they look nice as well. They do rub in a couple of spots, particularly on the pinky toes. You also have to make sure that the tongue isn’t folded in anyway when you first put them on as it can cause discomfort on the top of the foot. I am a 10 1/2 in most shoes, and 11 and Nikes and a 42 in designer heels I got the 11/41. It works but is a tiny snug on my left big toe. Not uncomfortable enough to return. Very happy with this purchase - will get a lot of use out of them. Don’t get dirty as quickly as canvas/Converse seems too. Mix of true white and ivory.

I have back problems that greatly limit my shoe options. I’m that old lady wearing a nice dress and, ugh, sneakers - because that’s about all that works. These mesh sneakers up my game and better yet they fit (I did size up to a 41 from my usual 40) and the insole is removable and the shoes accommodate my orthotics. Win win win.

This is a cute shoe. I consider this to be more of a lifestyle sneaker (not for athletics like the gym or jogging); to complete al of your cute athleisure , casual , street style outfits. They are a nice alternative to sandals or flip fops because the mesh helps your feet stay cool. They are really cute and I have received multiple compliments when I wear them. They work well with dresses, jeans, or shorts. My only con there is a seam that runs along the inside back of the shoe which could cause irritation or blistering on the heel if you have sensitivity in that area of your foot. There is a bit of leather covering part of the seam but it doesn't go all the way down. It is an easy fix if you don't mind investing a few dollars - I purchased heel inserts from Amazon in black, inserted them in the back of the shoe and problem solved! They are perfect and extra comfy now. Also, this shoe may not work for you if you have wide feet - the mesh doesn't have any give or stretch - definitely try on first. With all of that I still recommend these sneakers and I am glad I purchased them. I am considering purchasing the antique white color as well.
