too small in the waist

I loved the color and fabric of these pants and wanted to keep them. I wear size small in most things and these pants fit well in the hips/thighs/legs but were too small in the waist. Sizing up would have made them way too baggy.

fades unevenly in the wash.

I washed these jeans in cold water per label directions. The came out severely faded and splotchy — basically ruined.
