If only it had a double zipper...

This jacket is beautiful. The velvet is so soft (not stiff), the fill is super squishy (not bulk), and the black is a deep shiny color. It would have been the perfect winter jacket, EXCEPT... the zipper is only one way "up". I'm a city person who is constantly sitting in cabs/ubers, and I have to be able to unzip from the bottom to avoid stress/breaking the zipper ribbon. I contemplated just "leaving the coat open", but that's not a reality in Downtown Chicago. I typically wear a 12/14, and the 14 fit fine... 16 provided extra room.
