Unconventional womenswear opening direction
True to size and features hallmark design elements of Burberry’s classic quilted barn jackets. It is a tad longer than the classic which causes the fabric to bubble at the mid back. Other design differences include push button closure flaps on the lower pockets plus two upper pockets that are placed slightly higher than is natural and comfortable. The interior pocket with push button lock perfectly sized for a phone was a pleasant surprise and practical. A peculiar design element is the incorporation of menswear design into the flap opening with the jacket opening (zipper and buttons) left over right as seen in typical menswear whereas in typical womenswear, jackets open right over left.
