Golda Flat (Women)

Taking these shoes out of the box, I was skeptical regarding what they would look like when on. To my pleasant surprise, they were pretty cute. They are decently comfortable, though not quite as well cushioned in the heel as I may like. Unfortunately, they do run small. Being at the top of the size range, I do not have the option to exchange for the next size up, so I will be returning. My feet measure at just shy of a size 12, but my big toe was hitting the front of the shoes - so, I'm am guessing these run a least a half size too short.

I am reaching out because of the total surprise and absolute disappointment of removing the wrapping just to see a divot in one shoe and in the top of the other shoe major discoloration with no attempt to match the colors just an attempt to cover the damage. Who wants to walk around in two different color damaged shoes? It is as if a form of acid or a major scuff had occurred. I am so disappointed that quality checks did not occur. If it did, someone needs to reminded of the guidelines. If the shoes were repaired let a client know! Please don't just ship to the buyer "as is"! Whether that buyer is a corporate partner or a return customer give them the dignity and appreciation of CHOOSING WHETHER TO ACCEPT damaged goods at a reduced rate, of course, or not! Instead I am not subjected to returning a pair of shoes, I was thrilled about getting; to wondering whether Propét is really the place for me. Why does this bother me so much? I am a difficult size to fit, my feet are on the go constantly, and I have had surgery on my ankle...Propét worked for me! This is so disappointing.
