Homecoming
This dress is true to size. My daughter is 4’11”, around 105 lbs, with a 32D bust and a 23–24 inch waist. The XS fits snugly, which works well since the top has a corset-style design that looks best when it’s form-fitting.
I ordered two sizes — the XS (A–C cup) and the XS (D–E cup) — because of her chest size. The XS (A–C) wouldn’t even zip up, but the XS (D–E) did. The smaller cup size was extremely tight, while the D–E version fit a little larger in the bust area. She sewed a small section in the middle of the neckline (where the cleavage shows) to make it tighter, which also made the overall fit more secure.
At her height, the dress length is perfect — it hits around mid-thigh. I think if she had tried the Small (A–C), it might have fit her chest better without sewing, but the torso area probably would’ve been too loose. Overall, the XS (D–E) was the better choice for her proportions and gives a flattering, fitted look.
