Voyager Polka Dot Linen Blend Dress

I really wanted to love this dress and was so excited when it arrived. The fabric is cute and it looks great on the hanger, but the fit was so strange that I honestly wondered if I received a defective one. For reference, I’m 5'2", 120 lbs, usually a size 4–6 in dresses, a size 27 in jeans, and a 34C. The waist fit perfectly, but the rest of the proportions felt completely off. The bust was extremely tight and almost flattened my chest, yet there was a lot of gaping around the armpits. The straps were also very long, so I constantly felt like I needed to pull the dress up. I even tried pulling the neckline higher to see if the issue was something that could potentially be fixed by a tailor, but that only flattened my chest even more. At the same time, the gaping around the armpits became even more noticeable, with the fabric at the sides jutting outward almost like little wings or flaps. The hip area was just as confusing. I had extra room, but the seams still puckered outward. The back also felt tight while somehow sitting awkwardly low, almost like the fabric was caught or bunched up somewhere. Overall, the fit was just very inconsistent—too tight in some areas and loose, gaping, or puckering in others. I’m not sure if I received a defective dress or if the proportions are simply off, but unfortunately, this one didn’t work for me.

Not ideal for hour glass - full chested ladies. The dress it self is beautiful, I like the look and feel of the material. However, for my body type, the waist is too large and the chest is too tight. For reference, I’m 37. 5-26-37. 5. My chest felt like I was wearing a binder and the waist could be more cinched. Changing sizes won’t help in this case since it zips well, fits great from the back, and from the hips down.

This dress is perfect for any occasion, offering excellent quality fabric and a flattering fit that is both comfortable and stylish. You can easily dress it up or down, and I would absolutely purchase it again 😊

I returned mine. The fabric and cut were cheaper than expected for the price and the color already looked worn and faded. It was also quite slim in the waist but boxy in the shoulders. Cute in concept though!
