Nice jean- don't size down...
I didn't size down and I am very glad because these run true to size. I wear a size 6 and these fit exactly as a 6. These are definitely a mid rise, hitting about an inch lower than my belly button.
Measurements: 5'7", 138 pounds, 27 1/2" waist, 37" hips.
These are not as forgiving-stretch wise, as some of my other jeans.

My New Fav Jeans!
I follow a blogger who swore that these AG jeans were the best. She was right! I love them. As all AG jeans, they fit great. I love the wash & length. Not your normal skinny jean because the bottoms are not super tight. Because of the reviews, I did order 1 size down. The jeans were tight around the waist when I first put them on but stretched out perfectly.

I ordered 20 pairs of jeans in the Anniversary Sale, and these were 1 of 2 pairs I kept. Perfect for a petite frame/short legs, beautiful vintage looking wash, and the denim feels like real denim (hardly any stretch.) They are a true mid rise and ankle length.
