What it is: A colour-free primer base designed to be worn under lipstick to reduce feathering.
What it does: The lip primer adds light moisture while smoothing and refining the lips. It improves the appearance of applied lip products while reducing lipstick feathering and providing immediate hydration.
How to use: Apply a thin coating over entire lip area and over lip edges. Follow with lip colour and, if desired, line lips.

FABULOUS!
Everyone is right. This is a must have. After years of using chapstick, applying it constantly, I have found a better alternative. Prep & Prime Lip lasts and lasts. It has a pleasant aroma and a nice
feel on the lips. An added bonus is how lovely lipstick goes on over it and also lasts and lasts. I am 72 years old. At this age a lip line is hard to define. Prep & Prime makes it all possible, a younger looking, well defined mouth.

Save your money.
My first one star review...sigh. I should have listen to the reviewer that said this was just like putting Chapstick on the lips. I would say more like lard or crisco cookie grease . Because, there is no flavor and that is the look of it.
And this stuff feels like simple lard or criso of oil on the lips. I bought this with the hopes of not having to re-apply my lipstick on so many time. But, sadly with using this I still do. Except now I apply two. The look and feel of the lipstick after applying the primer is pretty much is the same. I would say purchase a good lipstick and call it a day. Don't waste your money on this,

Love it!!
One of the makeup counter girls recommended I buy it since I was buying a matte lipstick - I think she wanted to ensure I wouldn't return the lipstick.. but I won't now! Wearing this under matte lipstick makes a HUGE difference. I don't have to reapply the lipstick and my lips don't get flaky or dry ALL DAY. I exfoliate my lips, put on the primer, lip liner, lipstick and go over once more with lip liner and it stays put until I take it off. I only have to reapply maybe ONCE a day!!! And the best part is it helps stain the lips so I don't have any transfer to my water bottle, cup or food. LOVE this product, 10 out of 10!!

Can't live without it!
I started using this about 5 years ago and now I cannot live without it, especially in the winter in Minnesota. It provides a wonderful base for whatever lipstick you are using. I find if I put it on and then wait about two minutes before adding lipstick, it works the best.

This definitely served its purpose of moisturizing lips and keeping my lipstick on all night. BUT. I could have used probably any chapstick and gotten the same result. I would recommend using EOS lip balm as I was using it all day before I put on my lipstick, and my lips felt just as moisturized as with this balm. Save your money and buy chapstick instead!

Really Great Product
I recently got into wearing bright colored lipstick, but had issues with it feathering and getting on my teeth. Every time I went out with lipstick, I was constantly checking in mirrors to see if I still looked fit to be in public! But this product changed all that. I can now wear lipstick more confidently, knowing it will not smear across my face. Best of all, this makes my lipstick last much longer than usual. I can go out and eat and drink, and hours later, I still have color on my lips. If you enjoy wearing bright lipsticks, I highly recommend you pair it with this primer.
