Seriously. I could not believe Prada managed to make the boots even lower quality. The original version of the ankle boot already used a cheaper construction method that makes the tongue of the boot more fragile, and thinner leather than the calf high-ones, meaning these crease uglier and faster. But now, they changed the old rubber sole to a new low-quality foam-rubber sole. In case you didn't know, foam-rubber soles, while lightweight, are cheap and lasts only a fraction of the lifetime rubber has; they're better suited for orthopedics, sandals, crocs, or athletic footwear, not luxury combat boots that has had THREE price increases this year. Not to mention every time you wear these boots, because of how chunky the soles are, the 'teeth' of the midsole develop these ugly creases that become worse over time and shortens the lifespan of the boots. Feel free to buy these, but I'll stick with the higher quality rubber ones that'll actually last.
