good shell pant
I took these pants out to Colorado for a few days. The remps started around 10 degrees Fahrenheit and went up to about 30. I wore a think merino wool base layer underneath and was super warm. these pants do a great job of blocking ALL the wind and I stayed completely dry. I did open the vents when it got warmer, but I run really hot.
sizing: i am 6' 31" inseam and 37" waist. I got the XL and had a bit of extra room. the pants where a bit long, but thats how I like it when I snowboard.
I don't think these are the most breathable, but they did enough to keep me from sweating too much.
I wish the vents had a mesh layer to keep snow out, and the lower pockets extend past my knees when I put things in them, which I HATE.

Best pant OR has made in a long while.
I have 20+ days on these. Best pants that OR HAS HAD IN MANY YEARS!! Great fit, great style, good fabric. DON’t change them!!!!!!
Range of colors is weak and does not coordinate with other pieces in the alpine line.

Straight to the point
Outdoor Research has became my new favourite brand. These pants fit me perfectly using their sizing. I am an odd size. Nice middle aged waistline, but short legs with long torso. The did not feel restrictive. ok...maybe they did but because of my own stupidity. See, I should have worn suspenders because of my waistline, or a belt. Thick thighs, same size of my waist. Yeah, the only thing stopping them from falling was my gluteus maximus. So the crotch kind of sagged a bit. Did end up putting suspenders on them the next time and they were perfect after that. They do have adjustable velcro tabs on the side, but the suspenders worked better. I also want to mention how warm they were. I wore lacrosse shorts underneath, down to 15F. Thats the coldest it got. My butt wasnt cold on the lift chairs. Snow didnt get inside as I played in the snow. Pockets were great.

Great snow riding pants
Super comfortable and warm. The snow pants do not feel too baggy or drag when skiing at a fast pace. Would recommend them.

Product review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After putting in over 30 days on the mountain with a mix of resort laps and backcountry tours, I can confidently say this Outdoor Research ski coat and pants delivered in every condition. From storm days with deep powder to bluebird spring afternoons, the jacket and pants never let me down. The ski coat stood out with its high-quality materials, great breathability for long hikes, and solid warmth in colder temps. One of my favorite details was the wrist sleeves with thumb holes, which kept snow and wind out while adding extra comfort. This was also my first time opting for ski pants instead of bibs, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they performed. They offered plenty of mobility, stayed in place without issues, and handled everything from deep powder to wet conditions with ease. The fit was spot-on and they proved to be a great alternative to bibs. Outdoor Research nailed it with this setup.
