Pom Pom at Home Zuma Sham
I bought these shams to coordinate with a mix of bedding. Don't let one bad review scare you away. Regarding the stiffness that a previous review mentions - If you don't open them up and try them on a pillow, calling them stiff is not accurate. They are not buttery soft, but the description calls them stonewashed which doesn't scream soft to begin with. I haven't washed them yet, but I am almost certain they will soften with a little fabric softener. They are so well constructed and the zipper is the best part so I will give them a shot. I tried them on one pillow and put my head on it and I wasn't scared away. My king pillows are really soft and this sham gave my pillows the structure they need. These are shams which are not pillowcases so I think that's where some may be confused. I think the texture and structure is what makes them look great on my bed. They are expensive and I wish I could update this review in 3 months to give a post use point of view.

Stiff Fabric and Shallow Texture
I was very excited to see these shams in person, as I've been admiring the Zuma set from afar for quite some time. Unfortunately, when they showed up, I felt a little let down. Not only is the fabric much stiffer than I had expected, but the waffle texture was also a lot more shallow than the pictures suggest. If you're expecting something more along the lines of a puffy or soft waffle weave, then this won't be the right choice for you (although it's possible they may soften after several washes considering it's 100% cotton). I've decided I no longer want the Zuma blanket based on these shams, but the jury is still out on if I want to keep the shams for layering. If I'm being honest, I don't think they're worth the price and you could probably find something that looks just as good—or better—at a similar cost.

Decorative-Not so comfy
Purchased and washed a few times. I don’t feel like they have softened up. Very pretty to look at but more scratchy than I would like for an actual pillow. Definitely more of a sham! Purchased with matching blanket and really makes the look of the bed. Love Pom Pom!
