SCULPEY SOUFFLE: 5 PACK - 1.7oz bars (Total 8.5 ounces). Sculpey Souffle is a lightweight, versatile polymer clay that gives your creations a beautiful suede finish after baking. Great for a variety of projects such as jewelry, DIY home décor, mixed media and more. This nondrying clay has a great ability to hold detail, making it suitable for advanced methods like bargello, caning and mokume gane. This easy-to-use medium is perfect for experienced crafters as well as claying beginners. SUPER FLEXIBLE: Can be cut and sewn after baking - perfect for embellishing bags, making tags, enhancing paper crafting and more! STAYS SOFT UNTIL BAKED: Does not air dry. Remains soft until it is baked in your home oven. Extra clay can be stored and reused! While this clay does not dry out from the air, we do recommend storing the clay in an airtight container to prevent hair and debris from getting in the clay. Safe and non-toxic! Sculpey Soufflé is durable, self-supporting and resistant to cracking when baked, even in large creations. It's an EXCELLENT JEWELRY-MAKING CLAY thanks to its light weight, which makes it perfect for pieces like earrings. SOFTEN THE CLAY: When Sculpey Soufflé becomes too firm it can be softened using various techniques: Using a clay conditioning machine. Mixing it with clay softener. Combining the clay with softer clay. Using a food processor. Smashing the clay inside a plastic bag using a rolling pin. BAKING: Bake at 275 °F (130 °C) for 30 minutes per 1/4 in (6 mm) thickness. DO NOT MICROWAVE. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME. Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey Tools Oven-Safe Work Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately. INCLUDES: 5 (1.7oz) polymer clay bars.
