Emille Wool Blend Coat

I'm a classic coat kind of person. I was looking for something kind of like my husband's wool topcoat that he's had for years. This is close, but missing a few details: No buttons in the front. You must use the belt. The belt is not secured in any way - so it would be easy to lose. I've used a large sewing needle and tacked it down at the middle seam in the back. No lining! Luckily, the wool is extremely soft, so this is not a huge problem. The style - when the belt is being used, which on a cold day, it must! - is more 'bathrobe' than classic topcoat. But a sleek bathrobe. All that said, I am keeping the coat as it will last 20 years (as did my old topcoat!) and never go out of style (my old topcoat did a bit . . . ) Looks good over a dress, dress pants, or over jeans. Great length. I am also a scarf person and this coat screams for a scarf. I am 5'7" 135 lbs. I ordered a medium - as I'm not wearing the coat over a tee! It is perfect for over a sweater.
