Details & care

Designed for everyday walking and perfect for run/walk intervals, this high-performance sneaker sits on a series of articulated pods that provide targeted support while promoting natural motion with every step. A decoupled heel rocker and full-foot ACTIVenergy foam ground your landings and toe-offs on soft, springy cushioning that helps stabilize inward-leaning strides. Up top, nylon mesh and curvy overlays bring a retro vibe that underscores the shoe's timeless appeal.

  • Cushioning: absorbs impact and distributes weight for consistent, buoyant comfort under each step
  • Support: enhances the fit with targeted contouring and cushioning in the footbed
  • Pronation: gently rotates an inward-leaning stride back to center for a more stabilized ride
  • 2 1/4" heel
  • Lace-up style
  • Removable, cushioned insole allows for custom orthotics
  • Synthetic upper/textile lining/rubber sole
  • Imported
  • American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance
  • Item #10823502

Absolutely love the cherry red color (picture is quite accurate) and the shoe is super lightweight. Took some adjusting to the shape and rolling my feet more as I walk. I found these true to size, 7.5W. Fit my very wide feet in the front without having a too large heel cup in the back.

Poor quality

I've worn these about a dozen times and the front of the shoe is coming unglued.

like clouds

These are so comfy and light! I feel like these will be great every day shoes for walks or chasing my toddler at the park. Highly recommend.

Comfortable and Stylish

I normally wear an 8.5 in sneakers (On Cloud, Nike) but these were too big for me at 8.5. However, I do love the red color and the comfort. At this price point you can’t go wrong, so I repurchased in a size 8.

Will dirty easily.

I wanted these to work! Unfortunately, they did not and ended up going back. I unwrapped one shoe and it was smudged in two places. As I looked at the materials closer, I could tell this was going to be a shoe that will dirty easily. I still tried it on. It had way too much cushion for me. There was no stability for my heels and I could feel the lack of support up through my lower back, which wasn’t going to work for me.

extremely comfortable

I have complicated feet. I generally wear Hoka or fresh foam new balance. These are right up there with those in comfort (just not as cushy). They form well to the foot and I can walk without pain for hours. They are also stylish and don’t look like old lady shoes. Just bought a second pair.

Admired by multiple teachers and principal too.

Rigid, so good for toes developing arthritis, according to foot surgeon. Supportive enough for teachers on their feet all day. Many compliments on my red ones- even a guy teacher wants a pair! And the principal and I can have twin shoes on twin day. I did use a heal insert for the first few times I wore them because I wasn't used to shoes touching close to my ankles. I'd worn Sketchers exclusively for a decade. Podiatrist said if you can fold a shoe in half it's not supportive enough, so all of my sketchers were given away. I do wish shoe descriptions on the site were specific about if shoes will fold in half. I'm hoping the words external shank for mid foot that I see on another style means it's not possible to fold them in half. Memory foam in arch support part that touches socks would be nice in Rykas too.
