Personal Microderm Classic Device

I get professional peels done a few times in a year - and there is a week of down time with such deep peels....and my pores always manage to fill under the layer of peeling skin for the week - which you cannot reach them until the peeling has run/subsided its course. So after my pores had seriously shown to look not their best due to something I was using on my face/or something more internal....I decided to get the pmd to try. I'm using the normal strength head(have used this level five times so far) and my pores instantly from first use of this strength Somehow ARE so much reduced...I don't even completely understand the magic behind this,..but it's just that. My pores have only gotten smaller and smaller each time and during some breaks of using - my pores haven't reverted back to pre-pmd nor fill..?! .. No down time, no pain, MAGIC.

So far, I’m loving it. I didn’t think I would at all. I just wasn’t the least bit optimistic. But I got it at a great price during the anniversary sale and figured it wouldn’t be too much of a loss if it didn’t work out. Some things about my skin - I’m 30, combination skin with an oily t-zone and I’ve had recurring acne throughout my life but it’s very much under control - most people would never assume I had acne issues growing up. I do, however, have large pores that I mask really well with pore fillers and powder. Upon using this product, first at the sensitivity level, then moving up to green for the second try, I’ve noticed significant improvement. With my pores for sure but moreso than that, with the brightness of my skin. My skin is oh so bright! It looks like I’ve been drinking gallons and gallons of water! I scrub so often too but it seems that I still had layers of dead skin cells that left me with very dull looking skin. This device has definitely addressed that and after just two uses, I’m honestly so shocked and happy at the time. The way I use this is I first scrub using nothing fancy (St Ives Apricot Scrub), then pat my face dry. I use the microderm device throughout my entire face per the instructions given on the packaging. Then I get my Cetaphil oil control moisturizer and pump it into my palm. I add 3 drops of tea tree oil to the moisturizer, mix it, then apply it to my entire face. My skin is instantly restored with moisture and softness (the device will make you feeling dry and raw). I just added tea tree oil to my routine and it’s done amazing things so far. But the derm device helped things take it to a different level. If you are someone that has considered those more serious laser treatments for resurfacing like Fraxel, then this device might not make the biggest difference for you. But for all others who have more attainable skin goals with at-home treatments, then this device will really go far with you!

I have a lot of dead skin and tiny blemishes under my skin and it really helps clear all of it. I also have some concerns with a few lines on my neck and I can see a difference already. It looks more lifted and smooth. It does take a bit of time to get used to it but the results are AMAZING! Do your skin a favour and go get your PMD and clear your skin!

So far, not so thrilled with the product, but not to do with functionality, as I have yet to actually use it. To start, I know we are in the digital age, but please include some sort of basic instruction in the box. Such as: this is not a chargeable item, it must be plugged in to use. I had it plugged in, then tested it and it didn't work, so plugged it in again thinking I hadn't charged long enough. To have to use this item plugged in is inconvenient and makes me less likely to use. Also, include a link to the video that is to be watched before use. Clear instructions about what type of skin should use which disc would be great. In any case, I may keep, I may not, but this is a pricey item and could, at the very least come with some info....and a bag to store in!!

I am kinda obsessed with this microdermabrasion wand. There is definitely a learning curve to using it but it’s really easy to learn. I love that it comes with different sensitivity discs so it works for anyone’s skin type. Also that it can be used for your face and body. I used it on my face and followed up with a face serum and by morning I could tell that make face felt softer and more even. I definitely think over time I could see some major results.
