The discs are embedded with aluminum oxide, a naturally occurring element that is second only to diamonds in its hardness. I ordered replacement disks and only one worked from 5 of them,they look like they were 10 years old hope they send me new ones

Orange PMD replacement disc
I was unaware that there was an orange disc available until I Googled replacements. The PMD orange disc gave me the coarseness I was looking for. I was pleased with the results.

Love my PMD
Love the PMD system, but this is the 2nd time I've purchased and used the red disc; they are supposed to be stronger than the green and oddly the green seem stronger. Purchased them the 2nd time because I thought make it was a fluke with the first ones. Will go back to the green or skip over the red and get the next color.

Good step up from Green
I usually use the green disks but these are slightly more abrasive... but still works great. The spongy insert was not packaged with the discs... but I didn't really need them since I had a collection of them from past purchases. They're easy to wash and reuse anyway.

Always reliable
I have the PMD for more than two years now and getting these 'scrubbers ' is necessary. It's more effective than any other exfoliator coz it physically removes the superficial layer ofthe skin. It makes moisturizers and serum more effective too.

Orange Discs
I was using the red discs but as my face is loosing muscle the orange discs are not as harsh. I have kidney disease and my skin is very dry. The orange discs are gentle and effective in removing dead skin. Very happy customer.
