Plein Air - Moisturizing and Unifying Perfecting Primer

What it is: This perfecting primer is the first step in the Hermès Plein Air complexion ritual, preparing the skin for the application of foundation while also enhancing skin quality.

What it does: The primer was developed through the expertise of Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director of Hermès Beauty, and combines effective skin care with a natural look. The skin is smoothed and moisturized for up to eight hours and its texture refined. The light, fluid primer suits all skin tones, melting into the skin to leave a satin-smooth transparent finish and a radiant complexion that lasts for up to 12 hours. Make-up remains unaffected by humidity and heat. The skin is evened out, the appearance of the pores is blurred, skin texture is refined and imperfections concealed.

This moisturizing, soothing performance comes from a trio of active ingredients: niacinamide to nourish, smooth and improve skin quality, pure hyaluronic acid for moisturization and white mulberry extract (Morus alba L.) and an antioxidant that plumps the skin while protecting it from oxidative stress.

The bottle was designed by Pierre Hardy, creator of Hermès Beauty objects. Its clean, graphic lines combine the circle and the square and are crafted in noble materials. The glass is partly white-lacquered, partly transparent, playing with our perceptions. The black metal pump, engraved with the Hermès Paris signature, delivers just the right amount for one application. And the white metal cap with its jewel-like finish is decorated with the Hermès Ex-Libris in gold permabrass.

Research results:

In a test carried out by 32 subjects after 4 weeks of use:

- 84% of people noticed an improvement in the overall appearance of their skin

- 94% of people said that their skin was firmer

- 84% of people said that their skin had regained its elasticity

- 84% of people said that wrinkles and fine lines had been smoothed out

- 88% of people said that their skin was rebalanced
