Lantern is my favorite fit ever
I'm petite, short waisted, and pear shaped, and finding pants that fit has been a lifelong challenge that, when I was young, reduced me to tears and body shaming. The lantern fit in all the fabrics is amazing for me. I'm 5'2" 135 lbs and I can't believe I'm just now stumbling onto this brand because a friend who is tall and lean and lithe (an extremely different body than mine) suggested I try some pants. I got these in the geyser color (grayish blue) and am looking forward to wearing them this spring/summer. This particular linen is light as air, almost weightless, and will be perfect in the heat. Can't say enough good things. I will have to be careful not to buy more than I can actually wear!

Not for my body type
Another reviewer said it -- these pants are "pear-shaped perfection." Unfortunately for those of us with larger waists and nonexistent hips and thighs, i.e., apple shapes, these pants are a disaster.

Thighs wore out FAST
I Love EF linen lantern pants and was excited to get these in the orange/red colour. so cute and they look really fresh with a white T or tank.
The linen is exceedingly soft, and feel like a dream. But maybe the softness is the problem but I wore these pants no more than 6 times and the inner thighs have pilled very badly and look almost worn through. 6 wears!!!! Now, i do have chubby thighs, but 6 wears?
My other EF linen pants from previous seasons are a little stiffer and have held up much, much better.
