This is an incredible pair of shoes, but the Nordstrom website doesn't tell you what you need to know about these. First, these are shell cordovan, not normal leather. That means that they need special care. DO NOT put wax polish on these. Get yourself a good shoe brush and some Saphir creme. Second, this shoe is built on the Alden Barrie last, which most people find runs 1/2 size large. I normally take an 11, but take a 10.5 in these. Thirdly, these are Goodyear welted and have a double sole, so they're a little clunky, but sturdy. Take good care of these and they'll last you your entire life.
