Plaid Sleeveless Tweed Knit Sheath Dress

The design is pretty but there is a flaw in the cut under the pits. It’s a very large airy square exposing a part of the breast through the chest and the front cut looks like an apron. This would require, unless it’s ok for you, wearing for example a (white) dress shirt underneath. Then it’ll be even more classic and warm ! This resolved, the scratchy fabric is clearly bothersome and wonder how St. John designer and at this price point didn’t think in details to cover the inside stitches where the pieces meet to add more scratch to the dress?! Also the breast part looks smutchy and presses the breast. The fabric is scratchy and thick. The pattern is a pretty classic like the cut. These are my favorites in this dress but not sure about the flaws. Expected more from St. John. Hesitating!
