Beaded Mesh Column Gown

As other reviews have said this dress is very heavy! I read reviews before ordering and some said runs large if in between order down. I did this as I am a 12-14 in tops and a 10 in bottoms. 12 was way to form fitted in the bust so I ordered a 14 and it fit perfectly. I have room to sit down. The color was a nice surprise it is a beautiful slate blue. Beading is gunmetal not quite black. Very flattering to the middle if you carry your weight in your tummy like I do. The v neck in the front and back give you nice shaping. Material is very nice. No slip will be needed but spanx will be worn. Beads do fall off as you move around but not enough to notice. The price was great. I am the mother of the Groom for an outdoor wedding in September and I think this is perfect.

I got this for my mom for my sisters wedding. She was hesitant at first because it is a heavy dress. But after the ceremony she didn’t take it off because she received compliments from EVERYONE. It looked gorgeous on her and made her stand out as mother of the bride!

I found it easy to step into,and flows over hips nicely. I was pleased that a Column dress could be flattering! Well done Nordstrom.

The dress is heavy (as others have said) but it held up to a beach wedding and dancing. It’s flattering too. I received lots of compliments. The first version of this that I purchased had a broken zipper so I returned it for this one, which arrived in perfect condition. I think it’s a good value.

I wore this dress at a wedding last weekend in Florida. The dress did fit a little smaller than my usual size, it’s form fitting, and it also weighs a bit but I received many compliments from my friends. I absolutely loved it! I will definitely recommend this high quality dress for a formal occasion.

This dress is beautiful, and it is so flattering on! I thought that this would be the dress for my son's wedding as soon as I put it on. Also, as soon as I put it on, beads were falling off the dress. As I looked, I noticed that stitching was unraveling in several places by the zipper. Very disappointing. Just a note - it is heavy, but I don't think it's too heavy to wear for a night. I did get the navy - even though the pic doesn't look that way :)
