Royal Buckle Bootie (Women)

I got the black. They’re beautiful and slim. These are exactly like the Holly black calf from Crockett & Jones, or at least very, very comparable. They're a bit fitted. I’m a 10 so I couldn’t size up a half size, but it’s definitely not unbearable and very characteristic of these kinds of boots and shoes. I put them on with very thin no-show wool sock liners and they were certainly a smudge tighter than my sneakers and mules, but no more so than my Carmina loafers or other mid-range leather footwear. The soles are decently comfortable and removable as well. I have very high arches but I ignore them unless I’m wearing athletic shoes. Arches aren’t high but the footbed is lightly cushioned and comfortable. I wish I could speak to how well they hold up, but since I’m shopping from home and haven’t left the house in almost a year, I’ll have to wait and see. They’re nice and light, slender, sleek. The vibes are excellent and I can’t wait to rejoin society and show them off if I’m not too feral at this point. I’m glad I got them, and I’d recommend them if I saw they kept themselves together a handful of years. I’m not sure why to expect from 200$ boots but these are definitely more refined than the Tuesday boot co or Thursday boot co or whatever horseshoe feeling chunkers I got last year.
