Great Jacket and VERY warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this jacket. It is very puffy, but very warm. As a messy person, I do find I get stains on it quite easily (I have the green color), but they seem to be easy to get off, and it doesn't damage the fabric. Highly Recommend!

I’m really frustrated with the jacket’s quality. A snap button already fell off after just a month of use, and judging by other customer images, I’m clearly not the only one dealing with this problem. This is completely unacceptable

It did the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first time purchasing a Columbia coat, I purchased this Columbia coat specifically for the length and warmth to handle cold, windy Chicago polar vortex weather, especially since I have a 20-minute walk to and from work and the train station. For reference, I’m 5'1" and 135 lbs. The length was exactly what I wanted — it really helped block the wind from stabbing my legs, which was a huge plus on windy days. I did have to unsnap at least 1 button in order for me to walk, otherwise I was walking like a duck, lol.
I love the cinch detail on the back of the coat. It gives the jacket a more feminine, flattering shape, which I really appreciate since longer winter coats can feel bulky.
The site recommended a Medium, but I ordered a Small and I’m glad I did. I still have enough room to layer comfortably plus extra, and honestly, the arms feel and look a little baggy on me. With that said, I probably could’ve even gotten away with an XS.
While the coat definitely keeps me warm enough to get through my commute, I was expecting it to be a bit warmer overall, especially considering the Omni-Heat and that it’s marketed as the warmest option. I still felt a slight breeze in the arm and chest area on very cold days. That said, it did the job and keeps me protected during this brutal weather.
Overall, this is a good coat for long, windy commutes in the cold — just don’t expect it to feel completely windproof in every area.

Warm coat, but questionable quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coat during the Black Friday sale in November 2025 so I could keep warm during the winter months. Based on the size chart, it was recommended that I get a XXL but I could have gotten away with purchasing an XL as it is slightly large on me, but I have room for layers if needed. The coat is wonderful at keeping me warm, however, the bottom snap on the left side of the coat broke just after two weeks of wearing it & the middle snap on the left side just broke today. With as expensive as the coat is, I feel like the quality should be a bit better & not have two snaps break with just over two months of wearing it. I’m a fairly handy person, so if I cannot get replacement snaps from Columbia, I’ll have to scour the internet to find replacement snaps similar in color to fix the jacket.
