PiggyBack for Vista Strollers

I’ve only used this thing twice but I’m still not sure about it. Pros: - My little one likes riding on it. - Great for when they need to get on and off the stroller a lot. Saves time not having to buckle them into the seat. Cons: - Child is not restrained and buckled in like the seat so depending on my two year olds mood determines whether or not she stays holding on. I can’t push the stroller at a fast pace in case she’s not feeling like listening and decides to let go of the stroller handle or randomly steps off. - If the stroller handle is extended all the way out my little one is leaning back a lot, close to a 120 degree angle. - To keep my little one standing as close to upright when riding the stroller handle has to be pressed all the way in, then I’m either kicking the back of the board or having to walk along the side of the stroller. - To put it up you have to push the stroller basket in to get the board all the way up. Not a smooth or quick process. - When the board is up the wheels are facing outs If you get too close you’re going to get dirty. I had shorts on the first time I used this and ended up with black marks all over my legs.

I have known that I wanted the PiggyBack since we bought our Vista for our first daughter in 2017, and now that our second baby is here, I am so excited that we get to use it. My almost 3 year old loves her “skateboard” and feels like she’s helping push her sister at the same time. Right now, we are using the bassinet for the baby and my oldest has the choice of holding on to the handle or the bassinet.

Bought this as a baby gift when our daughter had their second child. Great purchase. very convenient and easy for the 2 year old to use. She loves it and can hop on and off at will. Keeps walks going at a nice pace. The step fold up pretty easy when it is not needed.

This addition is wonderful! But it has one major flaw. We specifically bought this for the airport so that we don’t have to have two seats on the vista and can let our 3 year old ride around on it when we can’t have him walking. It worked great for that. It was so fun and quick to just have him jump up. However when it came time to putting it away so we could gate check the stroller .. we had nowhere to put it. It wouldn’t fit in the stroller bag because of its awkward shape. You couldn’t leave it on or take it off and put it in the bag. I had to just hold it because it was too big for any of the bags I had - I ended up putting it in a bag and it just stuck out the top and was dirty because of the wheels. Not a fan of that. I wish the handles where the wheels go on would just bend in or something.

Really great addition that adds a lot of flexibility to the Uppababy Vista; honestly wish we had gotten this in the first place, instead of the double-decker seat. Only downside is that I now overreach for the stroller handle by a bit; not a huge deal, since the Vista is an easy enough drive that I can just stand off to the side and not wind up bent over.

My four year old loves it . I am able to put my one year old on the seat and four year old on this … I didn’t upgrade to double seat as I was expecting because of this great addition . If my four year old ever gets tired I put him on the seat and one year old in carrier . Works out great . I got used to it and now it doesn’t feel in the way vs when we first put it on, there was an adjustment period
