Phyto-Poudre Libre Loose Powder

This powder is sooo fine. That's good because it provides a dreamy, angelic finish to the skin, and that's bad because it makes the powder weightless so it flies everywhere when you open the compact. It is very similar to Cle de Peau's loose powder. I have owned both, but I prefer Sisley because the package is less bulky and therefore easier to store and travel with. I also want to note that some of Sisley's loose powder shades have shimmer in them, and some do not. The shade which I have, "Rose Orient", does not have shimmer.

There is nothing special about this powder - Chanel powder works just as well for less money. I have found that La Mer has the best loose powder and it also costs less than this product. Save your money- there are better products available.

I was sold the color "Sable" in a compact powder in this line a couple of years ago. I did hesitate because I thought the color was too dark for my light olive Mexican skin, but it's been okay. I do prefer "colorless" powders, however. I was going to go with the "Mate" color of this because "Irisee" was touted as "glittery".I got "Irisee" instead and the color is more like a "colorless". I sampled it with the included puff. I've decided to keep it because it's a small size and I can use it to travel. However, it's a bit of a rip off because you cannot unscrew the lid to replenish your powder. Also it's a very cheap feeling product container as compared to their product line. I really wanted a container with a flip lid/mirror and that's why I succumbed to buying this. I like the powder, but it's not a good value. It does have a nice smell- not too strong.

This powder makes my complexion look absolutely perfect! Not drying, but slightly reflective without being glittery. Very different and beautiful texture. Perfect finishing touch or great all alone. Covers imperfections, leaving skin radiant. Highly recommend it. I purchased the lightest shade. Covers my rosacea and does not aggravate it.

I am completely in love with this amazing hydrating powder! I have dry skin and most powders just make my skin look dryer. Using a brush, I dust this powder lightly over my face and forehead after everything else is done to set my make-up. It gives my face a smoother, more flawless look which really lasts.

I always enjoy shopping at Nordstroms. The items come well packaged and in a timely fashion. This is my favorite setting powder. It is pricey, but comes with more powder than PMG or Laura Mercier. My last one took me over 2 years to use up. It may seem like a splurge, but dividing that cost along over 2 years compared to another brand with less product in a jar, it comes out just a little higher. The packaging is lux, with a nice jar that flips open, a powder puff, and a nice mirror in the lid. Fantastic powder that helps blur the skin and is light weight. Recommend!
