Glad I tried a sample
Rating is for scent alone—delivery and packaging were great! The notes on this sounded perfect to me—especially the bergamot, cardamom, tonka, vanilla, sandalwood. I was so excited to try a sample! I put it on and it smells like my grandma. Loved her, but don’t want to smell like her. Far more floral and powdery than spicy. Others might use the word “classic.” I’m new to scents, so I probably should have paid more attention to the “heart” notes. Part of it is just my chemistry/personal history, but it’s not for me.

Lovely Fragrances just wish they had more staying power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There wasn't a fragrance I didn't love, my only issue is that they seem to fade rather quickly. By the time I get to work I can barely tell I am wearing anything.
