'amazing grace' eau de parfum spray

I wore this from day one. It was the only fragrance I wore, & I loved it. It lasted. But since it was sold to Coty, everything has changed. When I went to purchase a new bottle @ the store..it smelled all alcohol. Then I tried another bottle. Same thing. Then I purchased a bottle online....same thing, 1% fragrance, 99% alcohol. I still had some fragrance left from an older bottle before they sold it off, & the new bottle of Amazing Grace did not smell the same. I was not losing my mind. It's very unfortunate that this fragrance was sold & cheapened. VERY cheapened. I will not be purchasing any fragrances or anything else from this company again. Their "Philosophy" is to sell out for the almighty dollar.

I have been an Amazing Grace user for over 20 years. This will probably be my last purchase of this fragrance. I have wasted $$ in the last few years on my favorite scent of all time hoping that the next bottle will stay with me for more than 30 minutes. When this fragrance was owned by Philosophy it had staying power and did not smell like alcohol. Coty has done something to the ingredients or whatever and ruined the experience. I keep buying it thinking maybe they will listen to all of us who know what it used to smell like and what it smells like now - virtually nothing. I am on the hunt for a new daily fragrance but am so disappointed. This is the only fragrance I can wear (so far) without gagging and getting a headache. Bring back the REAL Amazing Grace!!

I have used Amazing Grace for quite some time, for the past few years I have tried to buy it again and the scent does not last at all. Will never purchase it again.I have spoken to philosophy a few times and they insist that nothing has changed. Well, I know my nose has not either. In fact she says she gets hundreds of calls about it that it is not the same. I know that Coty bought philosophy a couple years ago, this was about the time it changed. No more staying power. I wish I could find an alternative parfume that smells just like it. Until they go back to the original I will not purchase again.

I met AG about 10 years ago. It's all I wore & received many compliments. About a year ago, I bought a set and the staying power was just GONE. I was in shock. Thought it was just a faulty batch. Then I read reviews on here, and all over other stores online. I won't be repurchasing and I'm deeply saddened that the formula I've loved for so long has been tampered with and/or watered down!

I've read many of the reviews where customers have said AG doesn't smell like AG anymore and it's been watered-down, etc. I am new to AG so I really didn't have anything to compare it to. I started with the fragrance by buying one of those sets with the spray fragrance, lotion and body wash. I really enjoyed it and used it a lot so I decided to get this eau de parfum thinking it would be just as good or better than the fragrance spray. First, I received the perfume box from Nordies with holes in it. Luckily it wasn't a gift, but I was surprised the store would ship an item in that condition. It was the actual perfume box, not the shipping package, but again, not a gift. I then used the parfum a couple of times and realized it really had no scent. I still had some of the spray fragrance left and tried it. It smelled great. Granted, this is a close to the skin fragrance, which I love about it, but the parfum was like spraying water. I decided to return it and stick with the spray fragrance.
