Potent-C Bright & Plump Moisturizer

I see a lot of people complaining about the smell—the ferulic and vitamin c combo does smell like that, you just have to accept it (even more expensive products with the same ingredients will have it). I have oily acne-prone skin and mix a little of this with my oil-free moisturizer and doing that helps it spread wonderfully and keeps it from being too greasy on my face. It doesn’t make me break out (acne is pretty well controlled with my routine) and my pores look smaller. I used to love the potent-c power serum, but it is more expensive for less product. The price of this is actually great and my skin feels just as bright as and less greasy than the power serum when I use it. Love!!!

I got this for Christmas of 2021 with the pumpkin enzyme mask, it is good at combating the dryness that mask causes but was so thick my skin wouldn't absorb it for hours, but because it helped with brightening my complexion, decreasing redness, and made my breakouts much less frequent, (from once a week to once a month from PMS). And I had my tarte moisturizer still left (which had no benefits other than moisture for my skin, and was quite thin), I cross checked the ingredients to check that nothing interacted badly (nothing did), and I mixed them 1:1, my skin has never been better, it never gets oily or dry during the day now, no matter how hot it gets, I barely have any redness, almost no breakouts, my slight wrinkles from studying stopped growing and are almost gone, and it isn't too light nor too heavy. I can't tell you how it firms or lifts, or what it does for actual deep wrinkles because I am only 17, but I can tell you my skin is sensitive, and this causes no irritation. The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had to mix it with another product.

I have a selection of skin creams, without a doubt this is the most effective. Using this daily has made a difference to my skin. A friend asked me if I'd had botox! I had quite a noticeable dark spot which has faded, my skin looks refreshed, it feels soft, plump and my lines are less noticeable. I love the texture and smell too.
