Gia Pleated Maxi Dress

This dress smelled like a mix of smoke, perfume and had deodorant stains. Didn’t even try on, such a waste of time, Nordstrom. I don’t think I can order from this store anymore.

I tried this dress on in the store and discovered that there was a tear visible near the top. I then asked the associate if they had any others in stock or online to order. She found my size in the system and placed the order to be shipped to my home. To my surprise, it was the very same dress that I had tried on in the store. Unfortunately, I had an event to attend and didn’t have time to return and search for something else so I had to pay a seamstress for same day service repair of the tear. Smh!

I really wanted to love this dress, the color, skirt everything is beautiful but it’s very heavy and it made the straps dig into my shoulders and neck in a way that I would not be able to deal with for hours on end. I do have broad shoulders though so it’s possible this is just a me problem!

The color is exactly as pictured. The dress is flowy and beautiful. A little long for my height, but the right pair of heals or wedges and it’s perfect.

I love this dress. I wore it to a party. The day it arrived. I usually wait and make sure I like an item before wearing it🤔 no hesitations here! It is a beautiful shade of red, true to size, and simply beautiful. Love it. Prepare to sweat if you dance though as it is not breathable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love everything about this dress except one critical thing: it doesn’t have any way to be hung on a hanger. With this neckline I’d expect loops in the armpit area to help it stay on a hanger. But, alas, there are none. Without them, it just sags by being hung on the neckhole. I am going to have a seamstress add some when I get some tailoring done but for this price it should come with these attached.
