Cut Geo Duvet Cover & Shams Set

I never write reviews, but this is so ugly and looks nothing like what it looks like in the photos. Very stringy and gross. Isn’t even the same color. HUGE disappointment especially because I already bought other things to go with the duvet cover. Honestly astonished that anyone would think this is acceptable to try to pass off as what I actually ordered.

I ordered this on anniversary sale, and although the duvet is nice looking, the picture is misleading. This is not a set, the shams are not included. (My bad for not reading closer). I had opted for this one over a full priced one from the same line that I preferred due to the sale. But had I realized that the shams were another $60 I would have purchased the similar style one with the flowers not on sale (but includes the shams and is about the same cost when you add the 2). It also isn’t super soft (but I assumed this with 100% cotton). It has more or a canvas type texture. And the underside is a very crisp white, which doesn’t totally compliment the fraying on the top side which is more off white/cream. So if you were to fold it I am not sure it would look great. I am curious how the frays will hold up to washing. But bottom line, I am keeping because it is nice enough looking, just frustrated about the need to purchase additional shams. (Also oddly enough, the comforter version of this one Does include shams).
