Peppo's a Bit Tight
I purchased my Peppo-Chestnuts based on the style and chestnut color. After wearing for a while they began to feel uncomfortable, especially in the toe box. I've purchased a lot of Mephisto's over the years because of their comfort. This is the first pair I've ever purchased that feels a bit too tight. I'll continue to try to wear them in hopes they will stretch a bit and become more comfortable.

Different fit
I just received these and have been walking on the carport to see how they feel. This shoe seems to have a narrow toe box. This is my ninth pair of Mephisto shoes and the first time I have had a pair run narrow. Also the shoes are dark brown and not the mid brown (chestnut) shown in the photo. I will try these shoes again tomorrow and see if I will return them.
