Peplum Blazer

The design of this jacket had potential but I found it to be big in the shoulders but narrow in the waist. Also the sleeves were a little too loose for my personal preference.

This is a wonderful blazer if you have an hourglass figure - it looks sophisticated and has a very flattering fit, with a slim waist and a peplum that conceals any lower belly issues. The shoulder pads give it structure and balance the look. The blazer is fully lined, which sometimes constricts movement because the lining fabric has no stretch, but in this case, there is enough room in the back and shoulders (I have an athletic build with broad shoulders, so that's often a problem area for me). The ivory tofu is a nice cream color, not pure white and not too yellow. The fabric seems low-maintenance, with only a few wrinkles from packaging and shipment. It fits tts relative to other clothing in Nordstrom's in-house brands. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, particularly at the Anniversary Sale price!

I got the ivory color in size Small and I absolutely loved the jacket’s silhouette. It looked expensive and refined on. However, something looked odd as another reviewer stated. The shoulders were too broad, the sleeves were way long, and they cut the upper arms with way too much fabric. They looked sloppy and just disproportionate with the beautiful form fitting waist. I’m 5’4 (and always a 4/6 or S). I thought about exchanging for an XS, but then the waist would probably fit too tight. Also, it had a weird chemical smell when it arrived. I’m so, so sad the cut was not right. Back it goes.

This jacket is for a regular size person and not a petite person but I thought I would try it. I love the jacket, it is made well and it is classic and beautiful. Nordstrom, make this jacket llike you did but for petites also. When you design a great item, it should be for everyone. If I thought I could get the jacket altered to fit me I would, but it is lined and would cost more than the jacket to do that.

Great classic blazer with a modern on trend flair. I’m enjoying it. Not sure what the negative reviews are about!

I love this blazer, I bought it small, the worst part is it doesn’t come in petite. I brought it to alteration and there is no extra fabric to let out at my waist, but if I order Medium then the shoulder will be so big on me. So I return it.
