Dog Rain Coat

It’s running a little too small around the body for my Pomeranian, and he doesn’t have full length fur right now. I wish it was a little longer around the sides to cover his lower part of the body a little more. It’s perfect in length, it’s just the wide part that isn’t long enough for my dog. It kind of just sits on top of his back lol. Also, I wish the Velcro started at the beginning of the collar instead of the center for more adjustment) so it feels like it’s actually choking my dog. Overall I love Pendleton for humans! I own several pieces! I just wish they would put a little more attention to detail—our pets deserve it too!

So I ordered the L for my 55 lb sheepadoodle, who fit squarely within the L measurements in the sizing chart provided. When received, the coat is tight and small. In reviewing the packaging, what is labeled as a L on the item itself, corresponds to a M on the sizing chart. Therefore, you have to size up a full size to get the measurements right. Huge disappointment caused by this error on the manufacturer’s part, especially for an $80 raincoat for a dog.
