'Samara' Perforated Open Toe Sandal

I wasn't immediately drawn to this brand when I saw them in person the first time. Velcro closure? Birkenstock looking soles? However, this is a shoe that you have to try on to appreciate. 1) They are extremely comfortable for a heel of this height. Perfectly shaped foot bed and enough cushioning for the balls of your feet. The velcro doesn't show once you have the shoe on and the adustability means you get a really secure fit. The suede is beautiful in both the black and dune colors. I went with the dune because it reads more like flesh tone and elongated my legs, but I do think the black were a really sharp look with jeans. They look great with jeans or skirts/dresses. The dune color is a nice neutral - slightly mushroom, slightly taupe, slightly camel. It can read different ways depending on what you're wearing. These run true to size for the brand, which I find to be a snugger fit, but true in length. If you have wide feet, especially in the toe box, then these will not work for you.
