Nina Loafer Pump (Women)

In the nordstrom store, i took about 15 mins to try these shoes on (in the bronze metallic color). I usually wear an 8Wide, but in these shoes, partly cos of the heel....the 7.5 was the right size and the width was generous enough for my wide feet. However, the heel was too high for me. Just walking around on the store carpet, I was quite unsure of myself and I wondered if I would slip on other surfaces. Most importantly, as one gets older, the sole on our feet get thinner and less forgiving. In the 10 mins, i tried these shoes out, the front part of my feet (the ball of each foot) began to complain. These are truly beautiful shoes, but the heel was not practical for me. At the price point, I needed these shoes to be perfect -- and I didnt believe it was going to be used often. So I did not buy. If Paul Green made these in a lower heel (they would probably not look as stunning), I think I would buy them as I would use them multiple times a week.

I love Paul Green and have many, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. So I like these shoes, they are definitely comfortable but not sure I can wear these with a lot of my clothes. I knew what I was ordering but was hoping they would be a little more feminine.
