[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are a work of art! I love the exquisite design details that mimic jewelry. The red insoles create dynamic energy and are a fitting setting for my latest pedicure. They are so lovely, it seems that Alexander McCall Smith would love to feature them in his next iteration of the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency books that often feature references to the importance of shoes like:
"Mma Makutsi looked down at her shoes, but there was no help from that quarter; there never was. In tight moments, she had noticed, her shoes tended to say: You’re on your own, Boss!" (Hopkins, 2005).
