Not Very Comfortable
Bought these to be my everyday loafer for work so I went with them because of rubber sole so no worries about rainy days or some light snow on ground. I have 4 other pairs of Allen Edmunds shoes that I love. I ordered online so didn't get to try them on. Overall quality seems good, but comfort level is not what I expect from AE shoes. First couple of times I wore them they were painful by end of day. Figured there would be some break in period, and they have gotten better, but still a lot of pressure on top of foot so after 8 hours I'm ready to take them off. They are also quite heavy. Wish I went a different direction and wait so long trying to give them a chance. If I could still return these I would.

Not like the picture
This is a good-looking shoe, but it does not look as nice as it does in this picture. The big difference between this picture and what I saw at various stores was the finish of the exposed sole as you look down at the shoes. First, the color of the sole is much lighter in the stores than what is pictured here. Also, the actual shoes you get won't be as smooth and with as sharp an edge to that exposed sole. I still think the shoe you will get is a good-looking shoe and it's comfortable, but there's a big gap nonetheless from what is pictured here.
I have posted a picture of a brand new pair at the store. Compare that photo side by side with what you see on the website.
