Sedley Eau de Parfum

I am the proud owner of this, Sedley, Layton and Percival. This is not a comprehensive review mostly because I have this cologne for only 3 days and believe me I wore it from the first night the package came. For the most part it smells fairly well and maybe a touch different, fresh. But by my standards, for my taste, even though I bought the $300 bottle. Sad to say it's not a "must have", decent not phenomenal. A tid bit disappointing but I can live with it. Another disappointment, not sure if my nose is failing me but it seems like it disappears within 2 hours, hence I find myself re applying. I just went off on a limb it was a blind purchase. Just from reputation and the buzzz about PDM new summer fragrance, youtube reviews, that's what got me. But I am not suffering buyers remorse, I will give it some more time to grow on me.

Beautiful scent for the Spring/Summer and even early fall. The lavender and rosemary are my favorite notes. Longevity is around 7 hours. Projection is a little above average. Could very easily be dressed up, or simply a great signature scent. Shout out to Nordstrom in MOA. Only place that carries PDM around here.

This is really a cologne but is labeled as parfum. You need double the sprays and it lasts half as long as the other PDF scents. Start with 6 sprays per application. I have the Layton and Purcival, both crush everything out there regardless of price, made everything else obsolete.. If you already have these good luck, most of the other scents have tobacco overlays. This scent is near a 10 but it won't last.

I think this cologne is great and is perfect for summer as it has a fresh opening. But the issue for me is, that it will die down in 4-5 hours. So 2-3 sprays may not be enough. Overall a good introduction to fresh scent from this house. My only hope is, if projection and longevity were stronger, then it would have been unbeatable cologne.
