My conclusion is that this part should not be made of plastic and this is a fundamental design flaw.

How does it work?!
Parasol looks great and is really good quality, however, it really only provides shade if you move the pram into the right angle for the sun which isn’t much use if you’re walking! I had assumed it would bend further to allow more flexibility and coverage but the arm is actually fairly solid.
