Need better, full metal, zippers
Why would you lock zippers with a thinner than shoe string zipper. Both entry points should be locked with metal zippers for safety. It makes it easier to steal items when you can easily rip through the zipper string that holds onto the zippers. Away just came out with a top loading suitcase that could have been the easiest Zipper design for Samsonite but they didn’t think of this. Hopefully Samsonite changes their zipper design to a safer one.

Exactly what I was looking for!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a large suitcase that opens from the top, and this one has worked out perfect. The options of opening the top or traditional clamshell is very convenient. The wheels are smooth and quiet and the suitcase itself is very light. I no longer worry about being overweight at the airport.

Beautiful marriage between a soft and hard case!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model is a looker! This specific color is so beautiful, but does get a bit scuffed. Nothing that a clean couldn't rectify. The wheels roll seamlessly. This model is like a beautiful marriage between a soft-sided and hard-sided suitcase. I love the hard case, but not a fan of the clamshell design especially when each side gets heavy. And I love the top flap common to softsided luggage as it just makes it easy to pack and find things (atleast for me as I'm quite a tidy packer). I used it for an international trip. In terms of space, I packed more outfits than I normally do as I had festivities lined up to celebrate my wedding anniversary. That meant extra shoes and accessories. While it was summer outfits, so less bulky, I was still surprised by how much extra room I had. Very pleased with this purchase.

Sleek Design but Wears and Tears Easily
Got this suitcase last year and used it once. Front got scuffed on the first trip, no big deal. Then on the second trip the soft part of the back spine ripped! Very frustrating. And the return process is not easy at all (for such bad quality you’d think they'd just send a new one). Would actually recommend against buying a samsonite now which is sad because I really thought highly of this brand.
