Drawstring Waist Pants

I love these pants! I mostly wear denim and felt like I needed more options. I purchased my normal denim size of 25 but the waist had a lot of extra room because of the elastic back. I exchanged for a 24 and they are absolutely perfect. They are form fitting and very flattering. I’d say they are a mid to high rise, they have a lot of stretch and are super comfortable. I kept the coastal green color, the sand were too neutral for my liking. They look great with slip-on sneakers. For reference I am 5’2” 110lbs.

These were not at all flattering on me (curvy rear) and are too heavy for summer as well as too long (5’3), which is a shame because I love the color, drawstring waist and that they are straight leg. Ran a little big in the waist but when I sized down to 25, they were even more unflattering. My rear looked like I was wearing a diaper!

OK, so I typically wear a 29 or 30 in pants but I sized down to a 28 in these. They started off in the beginning of the day feeling really comfortable in the waist but as the day goes on I feel like the elastic in the waist doesn’t hold and it starts to feel like you need to constantly retie the string, which actually doesn’t do much considering that it doesn’t feel connected or pull the elastic tighter in anyway, if that makes sense. I would recommend sizing down more than you think you need to because once they get baggy after wearing them for a few hours, the look is not flattering. It makes you look like you have a pooch in your midsection.

I’m typically a 25, but there was too much loose material in the front/crotch area - especially apparent when sitting down. I could also tell I’d need to wash/dry all time because they’d loosen up in the butt/waist after wearing. Unfortunately smaller sizes are out of stock, so I’ll be returning. Aside from the fit, the pants are really cute and comfy.

These pants are so soft and comphy, and stretch, I could sleep in them. The waist has elastic in the back and a tie in the front along with a zipper. They are meant to fit loose which makes them ever so comfortable. Great for warm weather, the beach and travel. They are very pretty on. Dress up with heels, dress casual with sandles or tennis. If you want them tight size down. One of the best pants I have bought.

I bought these because I LOVED the army green ones that were a part of the anniversary sale, and I wanted them in another color. They are described the same, but they are not the same fit. They have an elastic waist in the back, unlike the green ones.... and they ride down in the back a ton. Not nearly as good a fit as the NAS pair!
