Incense Sticks

I used to loathe incense because the scent of those burning stems would remind me of a small ganja shop in Atlanta; overpowered by cheap incense. But, a few years ago, at a small gift shop in the lobby of a chic hotel, I discovered the candles from this range. When I saw these incense scents being offered on this Nordstrom app, I recalled the scents being so enjoyable and pleasant so I thought to myself, why not try them? Since most of us are spending copious amounts of time at home during COVID-19, it’s time to make some changes here and there, to make life a little more relaxing. These scents are amazing and I highly-recommend opening your windows on a breezy, California sunny day (like today) and then lighting one of these incense sticks. The price can’t be beat - just $9 per pack! I bought three different scents: teakwood/tobacco, amber/moss, and sunbloom. I absolutely LOVE them all! =)

I am an avid incense person and also have a sensitive nose which means if an incense isn't made from high quality stuff it'll usually make me sneeze or just irritate my allergies. This incense is high quality and has a great scent as well. I bought teak and tobacco first to test this brand out and after 2 sticks I ordered the other three scents. Teakwood and tobacco is a nice manly but feminine scent since the tobacco makes it a little "sweet" and warm. Sunbloom is a the opposite and has a wildflower powder kind of smell. It is really like it's name, sunny and happy. I can definitely smell the yarro. Amber and Moss is a nice medium between these two, more relaxing and woodsy, has a hint of lavender. I haven't tried the sandalwood and rose since I'm gifting it to my mom, but it sounds great. These sticks do burn for about an hour, too intense for a small room so I'll occasionally burn 1/2 or less just to freshen a room. A little pricey at $9 since you only get 15 sticks, but that is 15 hours of scent time so it's like buying a small candle. Teakwood and Tobacco lingers the longest after burning, the others do as well but not as much. I can't wait to try this brands incense cones and candles too!

I really love the smell of these incense sticks. I look forward to lighting one to keep it burning for about an hour. The smell isn’t overwhelming nor does it have the characteristic patchouli that most incense sticks have. I like these so much I’m alternating between lighting this and a candle so I won’t burn through the incense to quickly. These are great at cover ALL kinds of scents from puppy smells to smoke of different kinds.
