Overnight Recharging Mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this brand! I am currently using their cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and this mask. The whole range has a slightly herbal smell from the ginseng, which I find quite pleasant. Now specifically for this mask, I highly recommend it. One of the biggest factors in youthful-looking skin is retaining moisture. I’ve tried the “slugging” method in my nighttime routine with Vaseline, but it would just make me feel greasy and dirty my linen. This mask is very lightweight, almost like a thicker moisturizer, and spreads transparently over the skin. After application, I give it 3-5 minutes before I lie down on my pillow to make sure it has set well. The result is refreshed, moisturized skin in the morning. Love it! I’ve been using it for a week now and plan on keeping it as part of my routine.

This mask is different than other products I have used or tried in that, you put it on after your other nightly skincare, then rinse off in the morning. This has a nice scent but is not heavy or lingering. It is not overly heavy on your skin, but doesn't soak in like you might expect for a lightweight product. In the morning, you can still feel the moisturizing benefits without feeling overly weighed down by product and it easily rinses off. I like how this makes my skin feels and love adding it to my routine.

I use tretinoin nightly, which definitely leaves my already dry skin feeling especially dehydrated. This mask seemed to soothe and nourish my skin. I was impressed with how nice my skin looked the next morning once I added this to my routine—and my skin didn’t feel as tight first thing in the morning. Overnight sheet masks or really heavy overnight facial creams bother me when I am trying to fall asleep. If I have too much goop on my face, I worry about it staining my sheets or silk pillowcase and the sheet masks make it hard for me to get comfortable. This mask is the perfect solution for me because you don’t have to apply a ton of product to see results. It feels incredibly luxurious and leaves my skin looking instantly more hydrated, smooth, and refreshed. The texture is rich and smells like ginger but still comfortable on the skin, and I love how soft and glowy my skin feels afterward. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I love love love this product. I have very dry skin that is somewhat sensitive. I used this product in the last step of my nighttime routine, after face as washed and milky toner applied. I applied an even layer over my skin and slept. When I woke up in the morning I was supposed by home hydrated my skin both look and felt. I usually wake up in the morning and rush to put on moisturizer but when using this product that was not the case. The mask felt like a thick moisturizer when applied and sunk into my skin throughout the night. The directions say to rinse off with warm water in the morning, I did this but found there was asnt much product left in the morning as the majority of it absorbed. Throughout the day my skin continued to feel moisturizer which is not something I usually experience. This product does have scent which did not bother my normally sensitive skin but something to note if you are sensitive to scent. Overall I will continue to use this product and would highly recommend!

The overnight recharging mask is no different. I use adapaline and this overnight mask works so well with retinoids. It feels silky and smooth on my skin. I love the natural scent not overly perfume like. It smells a little like citrus. My skin doesn't have creases from the pillow when I wake up. I cant even think of a single negative thing to say about this product.
