Just what I was looking for
I was looking for a light weight waterproof shell. I have had good luck with Outdoor Research products in the past and this jacket checked all the boxes for me. I am 6'/ 180lbs with broad shoulders and long (ape) arms. Size large fits perfect with good length in the sleeves. The hood has great adjustability to fit just my head or when I am wearing my helmet. There are plenty of pockets for various stuff. So far I'm a fan and highly recommend.

Do not try "bombing" anything in these
I really loved this jacket and the whole collection when it came out. I picked it up - and was sadly disappointed. Do not wear this kit to a resort or anywhere near the backcountry. The fabric simply doesn't hold up to any use. The Carbide kit is suited for playing with the kids in the snow at best.

Good fit, not sure about longevity
It’s light, breathable and waterproof now. My last OR was a medium and I purposely sized up to large fir layering as a snowboard putter shell. I hope it stays waterproof for a couple years at least. First 3 months has been good.

Great outer shell ski jacket
I’ve taken this jacket skiing in mid 20 degree weather with 30 plus mph wind gusts and stayed warm and dry from the snow. 10/10 awesome jacket. I got a large to accommodate mid layers underneath and was on the bigger size so take that into consideration.

can't be a pocket and vent at same time
The chest pockets act as vents which helps keep it light and left fabric.. but keep in mind if you intend to use any of the pockets to store anything, they can't be used as vents. The armpit vents are just vents and not an issue. Fits true to size with appropriate room for layering underneath (ex. thermal BL, down vest, +ML Fleece or nanopuff down).

Great Shell - Do it all
Holds up well, super lightweight but sturdy. Used primarily for resort and off piste skiing.

Great shell but....
I've been skiing with those shell for 1.5 seasons now, and I do like it. I'm happy with the breathability and the amount of pockets. The zippers are fairly waterproof and haven't had too many issues with soaking through the jacket even in very heavy snow on powder days.
The two quibbles I have are durability and the dang front zipper. Ill get another season or two out of this thing but the sleeves near the cuff and the sides near the lower pockets are starting to pill like crazy and im not sure if that will eventually compromise the water resistance. The main zipper bottom stop can be tough to get properly lines up and isn't particularly smooth. Not an issue if you aren't donning and doffing the jacket a lot but its still a little frustrating. All in all it's a solid shell, but has a couple minor annoyances.
